Our take on the Amolife Queen Size Metal Platform Bed Frame with Vintage Cross Pattern Headboard and Footboard, White

The Amolife Queen Metal Platform Bed Frame is a white steel bed with a vintage cross-pattern headboard and matching footboard. It is a frame-only design, so you add your own mattress and no box spring is needed. At 61 in wide and 82.8 in long, it fits a standard queen mattress. It suits shoppers who want a cottage or farmhouse look on a modest budget.

Questions and answers

Do I need a box spring with this bed?
No. It is a platform frame, so a queen mattress sits directly on the slats. A box spring would add unnecessary height.
What mattress size fits?
A standard queen mattress, about 60 by 80 inches. The frame is 61 in wide and 82.8 in long, leaving a small margin around the mattress.
Is a mattress included?
No. This is frame only, so budget for a queen mattress separately.
How much weight can it hold?
Amolife does not publish a firm rating for this model. Metal platform frames of this type typically support several hundred pounds, but check the listing for the stated limit before buying.
How long does assembly take?
Plan on about an hour with two people. Having a second person helps hold the headboard and footboard while the side rails go on.
When is the price lowest?
Metal bed frames tend to dip during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Track the price history here and buy when it sits near its recent low.
