Questions and answers

Is this bed worth it?
If you want a tufted velvet bed with a wingback headboard and no box spring, it is a reasonable pick at 4.5 out of 5 from 175 ratings. Compare its current price with plain upholstered platform beds, which usually cost less.
Do I need a box spring?
No. The metal frame has slats, so a mattress sits directly on the platform. A box spring would only add height.
Will it hold a heavy mattress and two adults?
The frame is rated to 800 lb, which covers two adults plus a mattress and bedding. Check that your mattress size matches the Queen or King frame you order.
What sizes does it come in?
Queen and King. Measure your room and mattress before choosing, since the wingback headboard adds depth.
How hard is assembly?
Expect a couple of hours with two people. The slatted metal frame and upholstered panels are heavy, so build it in the room where it will stay.
When is it cheapest?
Upholstered beds usually drop during holiday sales and clearance events. Track its price history and buy when the current price sits near the low end of its recent range.
