The Amolife Queen Velvet Upholstered Bed Frame is a platform bed with a tall wingback headboard, wrapped in 100% velvet in off-white. It needs no box spring: the slatted base supports the mattress directly, and the frame is rated to 800 lb. The headboard measures 62.4 in wide and 23.6 in tall, and the whole bed weighs about 67 lb, so it is light enough for two people to move before assembly. Assembly is required and tools are typically included.
Lowest price we've seen: $118.85 on Nov 2 at Walmart. Tracked across 1 store since Nov 2.
Rated 4.1 out of 5 from 84 ratings, so most buyers are satisfied but a notable minority are not. Owners of similar velvet platform beds often praise the look and the sturdy slats, and complain about assembly time and fabric care.
