Is the AmuseWit Gravity Electric Grinder Set worth it?

At $12.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to try gravity grinders. Expect plastic build and battery dependence rather than a premium mill.

What batteries does it need?

Can I use it for both salt and pepper?

Our take on the AmuseWit Gravity Electric Grinder Set

The AmuseWit Gravity Electric Grinder Set is a pair of battery-powered salt and pepper mills that grind when you tilt them, so you can season one-handed. Each mill holds about 6.3 oz (170 g) of salt or pepper, stands 8 inches tall, and runs on 3 AAA batteries per mill (6 total, not included). The body is plastic with a stainless-steel finish, and the mills are not dishwasher-safe. At $12.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range, making it one of the cheaper electric grinder sets around.
