Does it include mattresses?

No. It is frame only, so you need one twin mattress for the top and a second, thinner twin mattress for the trundle.

Is a box spring required?

No. Slats are included, so a twin mattress sits directly on them.

Can an adult sleep on it?

The top bed is rated to 250 lb, so lighter adults are fine. The trundle sits low and is better suited to kids and teens.

How much assembly is involved?

It ships flat and needs full assembly, which most owners say takes a couple of hours with two people.

Wayfair house brands like Andover Mills usually drop during major holiday sales and clearance events, so watch for those windows rather than buying at list price.

Our take on the Andover Mills Plunkett Tiara Upholstered Daybed with Trundle

The Plunkett is a twin-size upholstered daybed with a pull-out trundle and a built-in storage drawer, sold as a frame only. It uses an engineered wood frame wrapped in linen-look upholstery and includes slats, so no box spring is needed. The 250 lb weight capacity is on the low side for adult use. It is a budget-priced Wayfair house-brand piece, and its price typically moves with seasonal furniture sales rather than staying flat.
