Is the Aosom cargo trailer worth it?

For short paved errands under 88 lb, yes. It costs a fraction of brand-name trailers. If you ride gravel or carry heavy loads daily, spend more on a trailer with larger wheels.

Up to 88 lb of groceries, tools or gear inside the enclosed tub. Keep the load low and centered for stable handling.

It attaches at the seatpost, which fits most adult bikes. Check that your seatpost is exposed enough for the coupler and that your rear wheel does not rub the trailer arm.

How does it handle on gravel?

Poorly. The 11.5-inch wheels catch on ruts and stones. It is best on pavement and smooth paths.

Does it fold for storage?

Yes, the frame folds down for storage. It still takes up a fair amount of space at roughly 57 inches long.

Our take on the Aosom Double Wheel Internal Frame Enclosed Bicycle Cargo Trailer

The Aosom Double Wheel Enclosed Bicycle Cargo Trailer is a two-wheel trailer that hitches to a bike seatpost and carries up to 88 lb in a covered tub. The internal frame and 11.5-inch wheels keep it low and stable, and the enclosure keeps rain and road spray off groceries, tools or gear. It measures about 56.7 x 23.2 x 31.5 inches, so it is bulky to store and wide on the road. It is a budget option in a small market, and its 4 out of 5 rating from 24 ratings suggests buyers get what they pay for.
