Is the Apple 96W adapter worth it?

Yes if you have a 16-inch MacBook Pro or want the fastest charge on a 13-inch or 15-inch model. A genuine unit at $12.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026 is a strong price, but confirm it is real Apple stock.

Does it come with a cable?

No. The box contains only the adapter, so you need a USB-C to USB-C cable or a MagSafe 3 cable for newer MacBook Pros.

Will it charge my iPad Pro or MacBook Air?

Yes. It works with iPad Pro 11-inch and 12.9-inch models and with Retina MacBook Air, though those devices will draw less than 96W.

Is it faster than the 67W or 61W Apple chargers?

For a 16-inch MacBook Pro, yes, the 96W adapter charges faster than the 67W or 61W units. Smaller MacBooks may not draw the full 96W.

Third-party and resale listings like the $12.99 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 are usually the lowest. Apple's own price stays fixed, so watch resale listings for drops.
