Will it charge my ThinkPad at full speed?

Yes for ThinkPads that take 65W over USB-C. It delivers 20V/2.25A, so laptops rated at 45W or 65W USB-C charge at their normal rate. Heavier 100W+ models will charge slowly or not at all.

Is it worth buying over a generic 65W USB-C charger?

At $11.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it costs less than most name-brand 65W chargers. You get Lenovo's one-year warranty and tested compatibility with ThinkPads. A generic GaN charger is smaller and may have multiple ports.

Can it charge a phone or tablet too?

Yes. Smart Voltage steps down to 5V/2A or 9V/2A for phones and tablets that use USB-C PD. It will not fast-charge devices that rely on proprietary standards like older Qualcomm Quick Charge.

What comes in the box?

The adapter, a USB-C cable of about 1.8 m, a 1 m AC power cord and a warranty poster. No pouch or extra tips are included.

The input accepts 100-240V at 50-60 Hz, so it works on most overseas power. You still need a plug adapter for non-US outlets.

Third-party marketplace listings like the $11.95 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 tend to undercut Lenovo's own store. Prices on these listings move often, so check the current price before buying.
