Is the Apple HomeView worth $289.99?

That depends on how deep you are in Apple's ecosystem. If you use Siri, HomeKit and Apple Music daily, the screen and four-mic array are the draw. If you stream Spotify or want a warranty, the value is weaker.

Does it work with Spotify or other streaming services?

The listed streaming service is Apple Music only. Nothing in the specs points to Spotify, YouTube Music or other apps, so treat it as an Apple Music device.

Does it come with a warranty?

No written warranty is listed. Confirm coverage with the seller before buying, since a $289.99 first-generation device without one is a real risk.

The display, a charging brick and a charging cable. No stand, mount or extra accessories are listed.

Can it control smart home devices?

Yes, through Siri. It is built for voice control of HomeKit devices, plus timers, reminders and music requests.

Is it only available in English?

English is the only supported language listed, so buyers in other languages should wait for a wider release.

Our take on the Apple HomeView

The Apple HomeView is Apple's first smart display: a 7-inch Liquid Retina screen with Siri, three speakers and four microphones, meant to sit indoors on a counter or shelf. It streams Apple Music and handles voice requests, timers and smart-home control through Siri. The only new price listed is $289.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, with no other store competing on new stock, so there is no recent range to compare against. It ships with a charging brick and cable and carries no written warranty.
