Is the 4th-generation iPad Pro 12.9 still worth buying in 2026?

Yes, if you want a large iPad mainly for streaming, notes, drawing and light editing. Its A12Z chip is older, so skip it if you need the speed of an M1 or M2 iPad Pro.

How is it different from the 3rd-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro?

The 4th generation adds a LiDAR scanner and a faster A12Z chip, and it starts with more base storage. The screen size and design are otherwise nearly the same.

Does it work with the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil?

It works with the Magic Keyboard and the second-generation Apple Pencil, both sold separately. The newer Magic Keyboard for M-series iPads does not fit.

Is this the cellular model?

Yes, this listing is the 4G LTE model, so it needs a carrier data plan or SIM to go online away from Wi-Fi. It does not support 5G.

What comes in the box?

Expect the iPad, a USB-C charge cable and a power adapter. The Pencil and keyboard are not included.
