Is the M4 Pro worth it over the base M4?

Yes if you edit video, compile large projects or run several VMs. The extra GPU cores and memory bandwidth show up in exports and renders. For browsing and documents, the base M4 is enough.

Is 512GB enough storage?

It is tight for video and photo work. Plan on external SSD storage or a cloud plan, since the SSD is soldered and cannot be upgraded later.

How does it compare with the M3 Pro 16-inch?

The M4 Pro adds CPU and GPU cores and a faster Neural Engine, with the same 16.2-inch XDR display and chassis. Buy the M4 Pro for the speed gain; the M3 Pro is fine if the price gap is large.

What comes in the box?

The PawnSuperstore listing includes the MacBook Pro and a charger. The original box and other accessories are not included unless shown in photos.

Is the used unit with edge marks a problem?

The listing describes small white marks and dings along the side edge as surface-level only. Check photos and confirm the return policy before buying.

Prices on this model move around back-to-school and holiday sales, and used units like this one undercut new stock. Compare across the 5 stores listing it before buying.
