- Is the Ariens 72103300 Snow Cab worth it?
- If you clear snow in wind or blowing snow, it is the single biggest comfort upgrade for an Ariens two-stage blower. At $329.99 at PartsTree.com as of November 3, 2026, it costs about as much as a mid-range accessory, so it pays off mainly for people with long driveways or open lots.
- Which Ariens snow blowers does this cab fit?
- Ariens lists it for TRAK, Classic, Compact, Deluxe and Platinum two-stage models, covering 139 machines. Check your model and serial number against the fitment list before ordering, since mounting points differ between generations.
- What is the difference between 72103300 and 72104700?
- Ariens superseded 72103300 to 72104700, so the newer number is the current part. The 72104700 is the version to buy if you want ongoing availability; the 72103300 is the older Generation 2.0 cab.
- Does the cab come with mounting hardware?
- It is sold as the cab assembly for the listed Ariens models, and the steel base frame bolts to the blower's existing mounting points. Confirm the hardware kit is included with the seller, since small parts are sometimes listed separately.
- Are the windows heated or clear in cold weather?
- The windows are freeze-resistant rather than heated, so they stay clear in normal cold but can fog in wet, heavy snow. Some owners treat them with an anti-fog product.
- When is the best time to buy it?
- Snow cab prices tend to be lowest in spring and early summer, when demand drops. By late fall, listings are fewer and prices sit near the top of the range, as the $329.99 price at PartsTree.com on November 3, 2026 shows.
