Our take on the Arlmont & Co. Fitchett 20-Watt LED Outdoor Security Flood Light

The Fitchett is a hardwired 20-watt LED outdoor security flood light from Arlmont & Co. with integrated LEDs and an adjustable lamp head. It runs on standard AC power and is built for permanent outdoor mounting, so it replaces an existing fixture rather than plugging in. The 20-watt LED draw is modest for a security flood light, and the adjustable head lets you aim the beam where you need it. No current price or price history is available for this listing, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Fitchett flood light worth it?
It is a straightforward hardwired LED flood light with an adjustable head and a 4.8 out of 5 rating from 10 buyers. Whether it is worth it depends on the price you find, since no current price is listed here.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
It is hardwired and runs on AC power, so it connects to existing outdoor wiring. If you are not comfortable working at a junction box, hire a licensed electrician.
Can I replace the LEDs or bulbs?
No. The LEDs are integrated, so the light engine is not user-replaceable the way a bulb fixture is. Plan on replacing the whole fixture if the LEDs fail.
How bright is it and what color is the light?
The listing gives the wattage as 20 watts but does not publish lumens, color temperature or beam angle. Ask the seller for those figures before buying if brightness matters.
Can I aim the light where I need it?
Yes. The lamp is adjustable, so you can tilt the head toward a driveway, door or walkway. The flood pattern spreads light over a wide area rather than a narrow spot.
When is the best time to buy it?
No price history is available for this product, so there is no seasonal low to point to. Compare the price across stores before buying.
What do buyers say about the Arlmont & Co. Fitchett 20-Watt LED Outdoor Security Flood Light?
Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 10 ratings.
