Questions and answers

Are these tiles worth it for a rental kitchen?
Yes, if your lease allows peel-and-stick flooring and the subfloor is flat and clean. They are cheap and removable, but check with your landlord first because adhesive can leave residue.
Do I need grout or underlayment?
No grout is needed; the tiles butt together. A smooth, dry, level subfloor is required, and some installers use a primer to improve grip.
Are they really waterproof?
They are water-resistant and rated for kitchen and bathroom use, but standing water can seep through seams. Wipe up spills and avoid leaving puddles.
How many tiles do I need?
Measure the floor area in square feet and add about 10 percent for cuts and mistakes. Each tile covers 1 square foot.
Can I install them over existing tile?
Only if the old tile is sound, flat and clean. Grout lines and texture can show through 3 mm vinyl, so filling or leveling first is safer.
When is the best time to buy?
Prices for Art3d tiles move with store promotions and pack-size deals. Compare per-square-foot prices across stores before ordering a full room.
What do buyers say about the Art3d 12'' x 12'' Peel and Stick Vinyl Floor Tiles Dark Gray & White?
