Does it need a box spring?

No. The 13-slat roll is included, so a twin mattress sits directly on the slats.

What mattress size fits?

A standard twin mattress. The bed is about 44.5 inches deep and 79 inches long.

How much storage does it have?

One underbed drawer. That is enough for bedding or clothes, but not a full wardrobe.

No. The frame is engineered wood with a distressed finish, and the headboard is polyester upholstery over foam.

Is it good for an adult guest room?

It works as a twin guest bed, but the youth styling and twin-only size suit kids' rooms better.

Watch for seasonal furniture sales and back-to-school events, when Ashley daybeds often drop.

Our take on the Ashley Realyn Twin Day Bed

The Ashley Realyn Twin Daybed is a cottage-style daybed with an upholstered, button-tufted headboard and a distressed white finish. It includes a 13-slat roll, so no box spring is needed, and one underbed drawer for storage. It suits a youth bedroom or guest room that needs a bed by night and seating by day.
