Is the Plunkett daybed worth it?

For a guest room or teen room on a budget, yes. It gives you a sofa, a second bed and storage in one piece. If an adult will sleep on it nightly, the 250 lb limit and engineered wood frame make it a weaker choice.

Does it come with mattresses?

No. It is frame only, so you need two twin mattresses, one for the seat and one for the trundle. The included slats mean you do not need box springs.

How much weight does it hold?

The listed maximum is 250 lb. That covers the daybed surface; keep the same limit in mind when the trundle is raised.

Does the trundle pop up to bed height?

Yes. The trundle raises so the two twin mattresses sit side by side at the same level. It also has a drawer for storage.

What size mattress fits?

Two standard twin mattresses. Keep them around 8 inches thick or less so the trundle clears the frame when it closes.

Our take on the Andover Mills Plunkett Tiara Dark Brown Trundle Daybed

The Plunkett is a twin daybed with a pop-up trundle, upholstered in dark brown faux leather over an engineered wood frame. It sleeps one as a sofa and two when the trundle is raised, and the trundle includes a drawer for bedding. It is a budget-priced piece: expect a 250 lb weight limit and a frame that needs assembly.
