Our take on the Asofer 3 in 1 Convertible Sofa Bed Pull Out Sleeper Couch, Dark Gray

The Asofer 3 in 1 Convertible Sofa Bed is a dark gray linen loveseat that pulls out into a full-size sleeper and also reclines flat as a lounger. It seats two, holds up to 500 lb, and uses foam fill over a metal frame with square arms. At 97 lb and requiring assembly, it is a budget-friendly piece for small rooms rather than a long-term daily sleeper.

Best for
Guest rooms and small apartments
Occasional overnight guests
Buyers on a tight budget
Studio or dorm setups
Pros
  • Three positions: sofa, lounger and full-size bed
  • 500 lb max load is high for this class
  • Seat width of 46.5 in fits two adults
  • Linen upholstery wipes clean easily
  • Metal legs and frame at 97 lb feel substantial
Cons
  • Assembly required, and 97 lb is a two-person job
  • Foam fill over a thin frame can soften quickly
  • Full bed size means the mattress is short for tall adults
  • Dark gray linen shows lint and pet hair
  • No storage for bedding when folded

Questions and answers

Is the Asofer sofa bed worth it?
For occasional guest use in a small room, yes. If it will be your main couch sat on daily, the foam fill and 2.7 rating suggest spending more.
How big is the bed when pulled out?
It converts to a full-size bed, roughly 75 in long. That is short for anyone over about 6 ft.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. It ships unassembled and weighs 97 lb, so plan for two people and about an hour.
What is the seat height and depth?
Seat height is 17.3 in and seat depth is 21.3 in, with a 20.5 in back and 23.6 in arms.
Can it be used outdoors?
No. It is rated for indoor use only, and the linen fabric should stay out of direct sun and rain.
When is it cheapest?
Convertible sofas like this usually drop during holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Check the price history before buying.
