Our take on the Astoria Grand Brown Birch Solid Wood Curved Carved TV Stand with Storage

This is a solid birch TV stand from Astoria Grand with a curved, carved front and built-in storage. It stands 19.69 inches tall and 18.11 inches deep, so it suits mid-size screens and rooms where the furniture is meant to be seen. The only new price listed is $2,439.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, with no other new sellers to compare against. That makes it a premium, decor-led piece rather than a value pick.

Best forBuyers furnishing a traditional or formal living roomShoppers who want solid wood over veneer or particle boardRooms where the TV stand is a focal piecePeople who need closed storage for media and cables
Pros
  • Solid birch construction, not veneered engineered wood
  • Curved, carved front gives it a furniture-grade look
  • Closed storage hides remotes, cables and discs
  • Compact 19.69-inch height keeps the screen at a low viewing line
  • Brown finish suits warm wood and leather decor
Cons
  • $2,439.99 is high for a TV stand of this size
  • Only one new price listed, so there is little to compare
  • 18.11-inch depth limits fit for deep AV receivers
  • Solid wood is heavy and awkward to move alone
  • No stated weight capacity or cable-cutout details

Questions and answers

Is $2,439.99 a good price for this TV stand?
It is the only new price listed, $2,439.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, so there is no cheaper new seller to benchmark against. At that figure you are paying for solid birch and carved detailing, not for size or storage volume.
What size TV fits on it?
The stand is 19.69 inches tall and 18.11 inches deep, which suits mid-size screens in the roughly 40 to 55 inch range. Check your TV's base footprint against the top surface before buying, since the depth is limited.
Is it real solid wood?
Yes, the material is listed as solid wood with a brown finish. Expect visible grain variation between units, which is normal for solid birch.
Will an AV receiver fit in the storage?
Depth is the constraint at 18.11 inches overall, and interior compartments will be shallower. Measure your receiver's depth and height before assuming it fits.
Does it come assembled?
Assembly requirements are not stated in the listing details. With solid wood pieces of this size, plan for at least partial assembly and two people to lift it.
When is it cheapest?
With a single new seller, discounts depend on that store's promotions rather than cross-store competition. Watch for seasonal furniture sales at Wayfair rather than expecting a price match elsewhere.
