Is the RTX 5090 worth it over the RTX 4090?

For 4K with ray tracing or 8K, yes: it is clearly faster and doubles the VRAM to 32 GB. At $10,500 the value case is weak unless you need that memory for AI or professional work.

What power supply does this card need?

Plan on a quality 1000 W or higher ATX 3.x PSU with the native 12V-2x6 connector. The card draws around 575 W under load, and transient spikes can be higher.

Will it fit in my case?

It is a very long, thick card, so check your case's GPU clearance and your motherboard's slot spacing before buying. A vertical mount or a large mid-tower or full tower is the safe choice.

Expect the card, a support bracket, a 12V-2x6 adapter cable or PSU guidance and documentation. Confirm the exact bundle with the seller, since eBay listings vary.

When is the best time to buy?

Prices are inflated by scarcity now. Watch for restocks at major retailers near MSRP and compare across stores; the eBay price of $10,500 as of November 4, 2026 is a premium, not a baseline.

Our take on the ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 OC Edition

The ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 OC Edition is a flagship graphics card with 32 GB of GDDR7 memory, a quad-fan cooling design and a factory overclock. It targets 4K and 8K gaming, heavy ray tracing and local AI work that needs large VRAM. It is a very large, very power-hungry card that needs a strong PSU and a roomy case. Its best new price is $10,500 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, far above the card's launch MSRP, so buyers are paying a steep scarcity premium.
