Is 96 GB of RAM overkill for gaming?

For gaming alone, yes; 32 GB covers most titles. The 96 GB mainly helps with virtual machines, large video edits and heavy multitasking.

Is the 4 TB SSD worth it over the 1 TB version?

If you keep a large game library or work with big media files, the 4 TB model saves you from managing space or adding drives. The 1 TB version costs less but fills up quickly with modern games.

What is the screen like for gaming?

It is a 16-inch 1920x1200 panel at 165Hz, which suits fast games and everyday work. It is not a high-resolution or OLED display.

Does it come with Windows 11 Pro?

Yes, this configuration lists Windows 11 Pro, which adds BitLocker and remote desktop over the Home edition.

Is $3,869.00 a good price?

That is the only new price found, at Newegg as of November 7, 2026. It is high for a TUF A16, driven by the 96 GB memory and 4 TB SSD, so compare against standard configurations before buying.

Can the RAM and SSD be upgraded later?

TUF A16 models generally have accessible memory and storage slots, but with 96 GB and 4 TB already fitted there is little reason to open it up.
