Questions and answers

Is the Auoshi drone worth it for a beginner?
It covers the basics beginners need: GPS return, a screen on the remote and a stabilized gimbal. The trade-off is a slow top speed and no obstacle avoidance, so fly it in open space.
Do I need a smartphone to fly it?
No. The 4.3-inch screen is built into the remote controller, so you get live FPV view without mounting a phone.
How long does the battery really last?
Auoshi claims up to 60 minutes combined with the two included 1600mAh batteries, which works out to roughly 30 minutes each under ideal conditions. Expect less in wind or cold.
How fast can it fly?
Top speed is listed at up to 16 mph. That is fine for casual filming but slow if you fly in strong wind.
What comes in the box?
The drone with one battery, the remote controller, a second battery, a screwdriver, a card reader and a memory card.
When is the price lowest?
Drone prices usually dip during sales events and holiday periods. Check the price history on this page before buying.
