Our take on the Balsam Hill BH Fraser Fir Flip Tree Artificial Christmas Tree

The Balsam Hill BH Fraser Fir Flip Tree is a 6.5-foot pre-lit artificial Christmas tree with a two-piece flip design: the lower half folds up and over the upper half for storage and setup. It carries 1,150 clear LED lights with Twinkly Light Show control, so colors and patterns can be changed from a phone. At 54 inches wide it suits a living room or entryway rather than a tight corner. The best new price is $1,039.27 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, with two stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is the BH Fraser Fir Flip Tree worth the price?
If you want a wide, full tree with app-controlled lights and hate wrestling a tree into storage, the flip design earns its cost over several seasons. If you only need a basic pre-lit tree, cheaper options do the job.
How does the Flip Tree setup work?
The tree comes in sections; the lower half flips up and over the upper half, so you store and assemble it as one compact unit rather than stacking separate pieces. You still need to shape the branches each year.
Can the lights be controlled without the app?
Yes. The Twinkly lights have an inline controller for basic on/off and preset effects. The app adds color changes, schedules and custom light shows.
What size room does a 6.5-foot, 54-inch-wide tree need?
Plan for a space at least 5 feet across plus walking room, with 8-foot ceilings or higher. It is a good fit for a living room or foyer, not a narrow hallway.
When is this tree cheapest?
Artificial trees usually discount most in late November and again right after Christmas. The best new price was $1,039.27 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, so compare against that before buying.
Where is the Balsam Hill BH Fraser Fir Flip Tree Artificial Christmas Tree cheapest?

What do buyers say about the Balsam Hill BH Fraser Fir Flip Tree Artificial Christmas Tree?
Rated 4.3 out of 5 from 1,400 ratings.
