Is the Barillio Boston Shaker Set worth it?

For a first home bar or a gift, yes: it covers shaking, straining and measuring in one box with a stand. Experienced bartenders may want a heavier shaker and a separate mixing glass.

Is it dishwasher-safe?

Only the silver stainless steel parts are dishwasher-safe. Wash the bamboo stand and wooden muddler by hand and dry them promptly to prevent cracking.

What is included in the 10-piece set?

The set includes a Boston shaker, Hawthorne strainer, jigger, muddler, bamboo stand and supporting bar tools. Check the listing for the exact small accessories before buying.

Does it work for beginners?

Yes. The included strainer and jigger remove the need to buy separate measuring and straining gear, and the stand keeps the kit together.

Our take on the Barillio Boston Shaker Set 10-Piece with Stand

The Barillio Boston Shaker Set is a 10-piece home bar kit built around a weighted Boston shaker, with a Hawthorne strainer, jigger, muddler and other tools, plus a bamboo stand to hold them. The steel is 304 food-grade stainless, and the silver pieces are dishwasher-safe. It is a gift-friendly starter kit rather than a pro-only setup.
