Questions and answers

Is the Bayou Breeze bookcase set worth it?
If you need to fill a large wall, three matching 84-inch units for $669.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026 works out to about $223 per unit. Compare that against buying three separate bookcases of similar height and rattan detailing.
How tall is it, and will it fit my room?
Each unit is 84.25 inches high, 35.63 inches wide and 16.15 inches deep. Check your ceiling height and leave room to tip the unit upright during assembly.
Does it need to be anchored to the wall?
Yes. The set includes an anti-collapse device, and a tall, narrow bookcase should be secured to the wall, especially in homes with children or pets.
Can I adjust the shelves?
Each unit has a fixed shelf and one height-adjustable shelf. That lets you set one bay for tall books or decor and keep the rest for standard shelves.
What is included in the set?
Three bookcases, each with rattan door panels, rose-gold handles, an adjustable shelf, adjustable footpads and wall-anchoring hardware. Decor and books are not included.
When is the best time to buy?
Wayfair runs frequent furniture sales around major holidays and clearance events. With only one store listing it new, watch that listing for markdowns rather than expecting cross-store price competition.
