Is the Beautyrest Black Luxury Adjustable Base worth it?

It packs features usually found on higher-priced bases: dual massage, head tilt, Zero-G and smart connectivity. At $1,499.99 at Fischer Furniture as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for a luxury base, but check the noise and WiFi complaints if those matter to you.

Does it replace my box spring?

Yes. The base is designed to replace the box spring, so your mattress sits directly on it. You do not need a separate foundation.

What sizes does it come in?

Listings include queen, king and split California king. Check the size before ordering, since the split California king is two pieces.

The box contains the adjustable base and a wireless remote. Assembly is required, and the legs are 3-in-1 adjustable for height.

Can I control it with my phone or smart speaker?

It has smart home connectivity, but owners report WiFi setup fails with some newer routers. The wireless remote works without WiFi.

Adjustable bases usually drop during holiday and mattress-event sales. Compare the four stores listing it new before buying.
