Is the BRS900 plush good for side sleepers?

Yes. The plush pillow top cushions shoulders and hips, which side sleepers usually want. Stomach sleepers and heavier sleepers often do better on a firmer model.

How does it compare with the BRS900 medium firm?

Same coil count and 14.75-inch height, but the medium firm has less cushioning on top. Choose plush for a soft feel, medium firm for more support.

Do I need the box spring?

The set includes one, and it is the intended foundation for this mattress. On an adjustable base or slatted frame, check that the base supports an innerspring mattress.

What sheets fit a 14.75-inch mattress?

Look for deep-pocket sheets rated for 15 to 16 inches. Standard 14-inch sheets may pull off the corners.

Mattress sets like this usually drop during holiday sales and store clearance events. Track the price history here rather than buying at list.

Our take on the Beautyrest Silver BRS900 14.75" Plush Pillow Top Mattress + Box Spring

The Beautyrest Silver BRS900 is a 14.75-inch plush pillow-top innerspring mattress with 638 coils and a spot-clean cover, made in the US and sold with a matching box spring. The pillow top adds a soft layer over the coil support, so it suits sleepers who want a cushioned feel rather than a firm one. It is a mainstream Beautyrest line rather than a premium model, and the twin XL size is aimed at adjustable bases and dorm or guest setups.
