Our take on the Bedsure Heated Blanket with Preheat Function, Queen

The Bedsure Heated Blanket is a reversible queen-size electric blanket with a sherpa side and a smooth side, plus a preheat function that warms the bed before you get in. It is machine washable, so it can go in the laundry after the controller is detached. As of November 4, 2026, the best new price is $166.24 at Kohl's, the only store listing it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against right now.

Questions and answers

Is the Bedsure heated blanket worth it at $166.24?
That depends on how much you value preheat and the sherpa finish. At $166.24 at Kohl's as of November 4, 2026, it is a mid-to-high price for a queen electric blanket, and only one store lists it new, so you cannot shop around for a lower price right now.
How does preheat work?
Preheat runs the blanket at a higher setting for a set time so the bed is warm when you get in, then it drops to your chosen heat level. You start it from the controller before bedtime.
Can I wash it in a machine?
Yes. Detach the controller and cord first, then wash on a gentle cycle and let it air dry. Repeated washing is the main cause of sherpa matting and pilling.
Does it fit a queen mattress?
It is sized for a queen bed, so it covers the top of a standard queen mattress. It drapes over the sides rather than tucking under the mattress like a fitted sheet.
Is it safe to leave on overnight?
Most electric blankets, including this type, are designed for overnight use at lower settings. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and avoid piling other bedding tightly on top of the controller.
When is it cheapest?
Electric blankets usually drop during fall and winter sales and around Black Friday. With only one store listing it new as of November 4, 2026, watch that listing for markdowns rather than expecting cross-store competition.
Where is the Bedsure Heated Blanket with Preheat Function, Queen cheapest?
At Kohl's, for $166.24, as of our latest check.
