Our take on the Bestcore 12V Electric Car for Kids 3-Wheel Ride On Tricycle

The Bestcore 12V Electric Car is a three-wheel ride-on tricycle for kids roughly 3 to 6 years old, rated up to 66 lb. It runs a 12V 4.5Ah battery through dual motors for up to 45 minutes of riding, with low (1.9 mph) and high (5 mph) speeds and a soft-start for gentle take-offs. A wide low frame, oversized light-up front wheel, headlight and racing flag round it out. Best forParents of kids ages 3 to 6 who want a stable first powered ride-onFamilies with uneven sidewalks or gravel where a wide three-wheel stance helpsBuyers who want adjustable seat height as a child growsGift buyers who want lights and music built in
Pros
  • Three wheels and a wide stance make it steadier than a two-wheel ride-on
  • Seat height adjusts to three positions (7.9, 9.8 or 11.8 in) as the child grows
  • Soft-start and a 1.9 mph low setting suit cautious beginners
  • Up to 45 minutes of run time from the 12V 4.5Ah battery
  • Light-up front wheel, headlight and racing flag add visibility and fun
Cons
  • Top speed of 5 mph is slow for older or bolder kids
  • 45-minute run time is short; expect recharging after most outings
  • Single new price listed, so there is no price history to judge the deal
  • No suspension listed, so bumps go straight to the rider

Questions and answers

Is the Bestcore 12V tricycle worth it?
For a first powered ride-on for a 3- to 6-year-old, the three-wheel stability, adjustable seat and soft-start are the main draws. At $161.99 at Lowe's as of November 3, 2026, it sits in the usual range for a 12V kids' ride-on with dual motors.
How fast does it go and how long does the battery last?
It has two speeds: about 1.9 mph on low and 5 mph on high. The 12V 4.5Ah battery and dual motors give up to 45 minutes of riding per charge.
What age and weight is it for?
Bestcore rates it for ages 3 to 6 and up to 66 lb. The seat has three height settings, from 7.9 to 11.8 inches, to fit a growing child.
Does it work on grass or gravel?
The wide stance and oversized front wheel help on packed dirt, short grass and gravel, but the small rear wheels and modest power mean it is best on pavement and smooth paths.
What comes in the box?
The tricycle, battery and charger, plus the racing flag. Assembly is required, and the five preloaded songs and battery display are built in.
When is it cheapest?
Only one new price, $161.99 at Lowe's as of November 3, 2026, is listed, so there is no track record of discounts. Ride-on toys often drop around Black Friday and in spring, so watch then.
Where is the Bestcore 12V Electric Car for Kids 3-Wheel Ride On Tricycle cheapest?
At Lowe's, for $161.99, 50% off, as of our latest check.
