No. The Hard Floor Expert is designed for sealed hard floors such as hardwood, tile, laminate and linoleum. Use a separate vacuum for carpets and rugs.

How does it keep clean and dirty water apart?

It uses two tanks. Clean water and formula go in one, and dirty water is pulled into the other, so you always clean with a fresh mix.

Does it leave floors wet?

It leaves a light damp film. Automatic fluid delivery limits the water, but give the floor a few minutes to dry before walking on it.
