Is the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro worth it?

For pet owners with wall-to-wall carpet, yes. It heats solution, scrubs with 12 rows of brushes, and holds a gallon, which is more cleaning per fill than most compact cleaners. At $237.97 at The Home Depot as of November 4, 2026, it is priced near the bottom of its recent range.

How does it compare with the standard Revolution Pet?

The Pro version adds ProHeat solution heating and a rinse and storage tray. The standard Revolution Pet lacks the heated cleaning step. Both use the same Dual DirtLifter brush design.

How long does the carpet take to dry?

Bissell rates Express Clean Mode at about 30 minutes. Deep-clean passes leave the carpet damp longer, often several hours, so plan around foot traffic.

Does it work on hard floors or stairs?

It is designed for carpet and rugs, not hard floors. The upright body and 17.5 lb weight make stairs workable but tiring; the hose and tools help on steps and upholstery.

What comes in the box?

The machine, a sample bottle of Bissell pet formula, a 3-inch tough stain tool, and a 6-inch stair tool. The Rinse & Storage Tray is included for storing the machine after cleaning.

When is the best time to buy it?

Prices have ranged from about $230 to $300 recently. The current $237.97 at The Home Depot as of November 4, 2026 is close to the low end, so waiting offers little upside unless a holiday sale appears.
