Is the BEBLV300 worth it over a handheld blower?

If you have a big leaf cleanup and a nearby outlet, the backpack harness and 72-litre bag save a lot of arm strain and emptying trips. For small yards or cordless convenience, a handheld blower is easier.

Does it really vacuum and mulch, or just blow?

It does all three. The vacuum mode pulls leaves in and the high-impact shredder mulches them at a 12:1 ratio into the 72-litre backpack bag.

Sound power is rated at 102.5 dB, which is loud enough to need ear protection. Keep it away from neighbours during early hours.

It is corded and an extension cord is listed as an accessory. Use an outdoor-rated cord long enough to reach your work area without strain.

What comes in the box?

The unit, the 72-litre backpack collection bag and an extension cord. Check the listing for any additional nozzles.

Leaf blowers usually drop in price in late summer and early autumn before leaf season, and again after the season ends. Compare stores then.

Our take on the Black & Decker BEBLV300-QS

The Black & Decker BEBLV300-QS is a corded 3-in-1 backpack tool: leaf blower, vacuum and mulcher. Its 404 km/h air speed and 12:1 mulching ratio let you clear and compact leaves in one pass, and the 72-litre backpack bag holds a lot before you empty it. It is a corded machine, so you need an extension cord and a nearby outlet. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison for where it sits against its recent range.
