Will this jar fit my Blendtec blender?

It fits full-size Blendtec home bases such as the Designer and Total Blender lines. It does not fit the smaller Blendtec Go or commercial Stealth bases without checking the model.

Is the 90 oz WildSide jar worth it over the standard FourSide jar?

The WildSide's angled fifth side moves food back into the blade, so you tamp less and get smoother blends with thick mixes. The FourSide is squarer and better for dry grinding.

Can I blend hot soup in this jar?

Yes. Blendtec jars are rated for hot liquids, and the hard lid vents steam. Start on a low speed and work up to avoid pressure buildup.

Two 90 oz WildSide jars and two yellow hard lids. The blender base and blade assembly are not included; the blade is built into the jar.

How do I clean the jar?

Add warm water and a drop of dish soap, run a short cycle, then rinse. The jar and lid are top-rack dishwasher safe.

Our take on the Blendtec 40-710-13 90 oz WildSide Jar with Yellow Hard Lid, 2 Pack

This is a two-pack of Blendtec's 90 oz WildSide jar, the five-sided container that fits full-size Blendtec home blenders. The angled walls push ingredients back into the blade, so it handles big smoothie batches, nut butter and hot soup without constant tamping. It comes with the yellow hard lid and a 1-year limited warranty. No price was available for this listing, so compare it against single-jar prices before buying the pair.
