Is a chamber vacuum sealer worth it over a regular suction sealer?

Yes if you seal liquids, marinades or wet foods, which chamber machines handle without pulling liquid into the pump. For dry goods only, a cheaper suction sealer does the same job.

What bags does it take?

It uses chamber-style pouches made of polyethylene or nylon, up to 12 inches wide to match the seal bar. Standard embossed vacuum bags are not the right fit for a chamber machine.

How much counter space does it need?

The machine measures about 20 by 16-1/8 by 15-3/4 inches and weighs around 99 lb packed. Plan a sturdy, dedicated spot near a 110V outlet.

Does it need oil changes?

Yes. It uses an oil vacuum pump, so expect routine oil changes as part of upkeep. The included oil pump accessory covers the initial setup.

Can it run all day in a commercial kitchen?

Bolton Tools rates it for continuous, heavy-duty use, and the oil pump is built for repeated cycles. Give it normal cool-downs between long runs to protect the pump.

When is the price lowest?

Only Bolton Tools lists it new at $546.99 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no second store to compare. Watch for site-wide sales rather than competitor price drops.
