Questions and answers

Is the Breville Infuser worth it for a beginner?
Yes, if you want a semi-automatic machine with a real steam wand and a pressure gauge without paying prosumer prices. Plan to buy a burr grinder, since none is included.
Does it come with a grinder?
No. The Infuser has no integrated grinder, so you need a separate burr grinder for fresh grounds.
How does it compare with the Breville Barista Express?
The Barista Express adds a built-in conical burr grinder and costs more. The Infuser is smaller and cheaper if you already own a grinder.
Can it steam milk and brew at the same time?
No. It uses a single boiler, so you brew first, then switch to steam and wait for the boiler to heat up.
What is in the box?
Expect the machine, portafilter, pressurized and non-pressurized filter baskets, a tamper, and a milk jug depending on the bundle. Check the listing for included accessories.
