Is the Brooklinen Luxe Sateen duvet cover worth it?

It is a solid pick if you want a smooth, breathable cotton sateen cover from a well-known bedding brand. If you mainly want a low-cost cover, a basic cotton option will do the job for less.

Does it come with a duvet insert?

No. The listing is for the cover only, so you need to buy a duvet insert separately in the matching size.

What sizes are available?

It comes in Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and California King. Check your insert size before ordering, since the cover should match it.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. It gets softer with each wash, but line drying or a low-heat iron reduces wrinkles.

Is sateen good for hot sleepers?

Sateen has a smooth, slightly glossy weave that feels cool at first, and cotton breathes better than microfiber. Very hot sleepers may still prefer percale, which is crisper and airier.

Our take on the Brooklinen Luxe Sateen Duvet Cover

The Brooklinen Luxe Sateen Duvet Cover is a long-staple cotton sateen cover with a 480 thread count and a smooth, slightly glossy finish. It comes in six sizes from Twin to California King and closes with hidden buttons plus corner ties to hold the duvet in place. It is one of Brooklinen's core bedding pieces, sold as a cover only, so the duvet insert is extra.
