Our take on the Burrow Mid-Century Nomad King Sofa

The Burrow Mid-Century Nomad King Sofa is an 85-inch-wide velvet sofa with a mid-century silhouette, blocked arms and 7-inch metal legs. It is modular, so the pieces come apart and reassemble, and the back cushions reverse between a tufted and a plain face. Cushions are CertiPUR-US certified and the fabric is PFAS-free and stain-resistant. Its lowest recent price was $1,445.00 on October 29, 2026, against a high of $1,566.00 on October 28, 2026, so the current spread is about $121.

Questions and answers

Is the Burrow Nomad King Sofa worth it?
It is a strong pick if you want a wide modular sofa in velvet with stain-resistant, low-chemical materials. You pay a premium for the modular design and the USB port. At $1,445.00 it sits at the low end of its recent range.
How does it compare with the Burrow Nomad Loveseat?
The King is 85 inches wide versus roughly 65 inches for the loveseat, so it seats three rather than two. Both share the modular frame, reversible cushions and velvet fabric.
Does it have a USB port?
Yes. A built-in USB port is included for charging devices, positioned on the frame.
Will it fit through my door?
It ships in modular pieces, so the boxes are smaller than a fully built sofa. Measure your doorway and stair turn before ordering; the assembled sofa is 85 inches wide.
What is the seat height and depth?
The seat is 17 inches high and 22 inches deep, with a 33-inch overall height and 35-inch depth. That suits most adults, though taller users may want more seat depth.
When is it cheapest?
Its lowest recent daily price was $1,445.00 on October 29, 2026, about $121 below the $1,566.00 high on October 28, 2026. Watch for holiday sales, when Burrow typically discounts.
