Is the Callaway AI Smokes iron set worth it?

For a mid- to high-handicap player who wants distance and forgiveness, yes. The strong lofts and hollow-body construction deliver easy height and speed. Better players who want feel and workability should look elsewhere.

What is included in the set?

The iron set runs 4-PW with an AW at 46°. Some listings bundle a driver, 3-wood, 3-hybrid, Odyssey Versa Seven putter and stand bag, so check the specific listing before you buy.

How does it compare with the previous AI Smoke irons?

The AI Smokes keeps the strong-loft, hollow-body formula with a focus on forgiveness and dispersion. Expect similar distance with a slightly more stable shaft profile; the trade-off in feel remains.

What shaft and flex options are available?

Listings show regular and stiff flex, with steel or graphite shafts and a standard rubber grip. Graphite suits slower swing speeds; steel suits players around 95 mph.

The Callaway AI Smokes is a men's iron set built for distance and forgiveness, with strong lofts (19° 4-iron, 28° 7-iron, 46° AW) and a hollow-body construction that adds ball speed. It is aimed at mid- to high-handicap players who want straighter, longer shots rather than shot-shaping control. The latest best new price is $59 at Traveling Caddy as of November 5, 2026, far below what a full iron set normally costs, so confirm exactly what that listing includes before buying.
