Is the Apex Ai300 worth $799.99?

If you want forged feel with game-improvement forgiveness, yes. At $799.99 for 8 clubs at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it sits near the top of the game-improvement price band, so compare against the Ai200 and Ping G-series before buying.

How does the Ai300 differ from the Apex Ai200?

The Ai300 is the larger, more forgiving head with a thicker topline and more offset. The Ai200 is smaller and closer to a players-distance iron. Choose the Ai300 if dispersion and launch matter more than a compact look.

An 8-piece iron set. Check the listing for which irons are included, since sets are often sold 5-iron through pitching wedge or 5-iron through approach wedge.

Does the Ai Smart Face really help consistency?

Callaway designs each face with AI using swing data to even out ball speed and spin on off-center strikes. Owners generally report tight dispersion, but a fitting will tell you more than any spec sheet.

New-release iron prices usually hold until the next Apex line arrives, then fall. As of November 5, 2026, the best new price was $799.99 at eBay; prior-generation Apex irons are the cheaper route.

Are the lofts strong?

Yes. Modern game-improvement lofts are stronger than older sets, so expect more distance per club. Check the loft gaps between your wedges and the set's shortest iron.

Our take on the Callaway Apex Ai300 Iron Set

The Apex Ai300 is Callaway's most forgiving Apex iron, a game-improvement cavity-back with a slightly larger profile than the Ai200. It pairs a forged body with a forged 455 Face Cup and Callaway's Ai Smart Face, which uses real swing data to tune speed and spin for tighter dispersion. The 8-piece set is listed at $799.99 new at eBay as of November 5, 2026, with four stores pricing it new.
