Is the Callaway Supersoft worth it?

For slower swing speeds and casual players, yes. It is soft, straight and cheap at $26.99 for 12 at Target as of November 5, 2026. Low handicappers will want more spin around the green.

How does it compare with the Chrome Soft?

The Chrome Soft is a urethane-covered ball with more greenside spin and a higher price. The Supersoft is softer-feeling and more forgiving, but it releases more on chips.

What colors and pack sizes are there?

It comes in white, yellow, red and pink, in 12-ball packs and 3-ball sleeves. The yellow is the easiest to follow in flight.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes. The low-compression core gets the ball airborne easily and the straight flight hides mishits. The low price also makes lost balls less painful.

Multipack deals and spring promotions tend to bring the price down. At $26.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026, it is already near the bottom of its usual range.

Our take on the Callaway Supersoft

The Callaway Supersoft is a two-piece, low-compression golf ball built for soft feel and straight flight at a budget price. It comes in white, yellow, red and pink, sold as a 12-ball pack or a 3-ball sleeve. The best new price is $26.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026, and three stores carry it new. That sits at the low end of what this ball typically sells for, so it is a fair buy right now.
