Our take on the Campark WiFi Bluetooth Mini Projector

The Campark Mini Projector is a 1.5 lb LCD projector with a native 720p picture, auto vertical keystone, and a 270-degree rotating lens that lets it throw an image onto a wall or ceiling. It runs Android 11 with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, so it can stream on its own without a laptop or stick. Its light source is rated at just 8 hours, which is short for a projector and points to a lamp-style bulb rather than an LED or laser engine. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison before buying.

Pros
  • Light at 1.5 lbs and small enough to pack
  • 270-degree rotating lens aims at walls or ceilings
  • Android 11 with WiFi 6 streams without extra hardware
  • Auto vertical keystone corrects the picture quickly

  • HDMI, USB, and a 3.5mm audio out cover basic hookups
Cons
  • Native resolution is only 1280x720; 4K is supported input, not output
  • Light source rated at 8 hours, far below LED projectors
  • Manual focus only
  • No brightness figure published, so daytime use is a gamble
  • Single small built-in speaker; external audio needs the 3.5mm jack

Questions and answers

Is the 4K support real?
No. The panel is native 1280x720. It accepts a 4K signal and downscales it, so you get a 720p picture, not 4K.
Can it run Netflix and YouTube without a laptop?
It runs Android 11 with WiFi 6, so streaming apps can run on the projector itself. App availability varies, and some services restrict playback on non-certified Android projectors.
How long does the lamp last?
The light source is rated at 8 hours. That is very short compared with LED projectors rated in the tens of thousands of hours, so plan on replacement or treat it as a light-use device.
Can I project onto the ceiling?
Yes. The lens rotates 270 degrees vertically, so you can aim it upward for ceiling viewing.
What is in the box?
Expect the projector, a power adapter, an HDMI cable, and a remote. Confirm the bundle with the store before ordering.
When is it cheapest?
Mini projectors like this usually drop during Black Friday, Prime Day, and back-to-school sales. Check the price history chart on this page for the recent low.
