Is the Cannondale Quick 4 worth it?

It suits riders who want a light, fast flat-bar bike for paved commuting and fitness. If you ride steep hills often, the 7-speed gearing may feel limited.

How does the Quick 4 compare with the Quick 5?

The Quick 4 steps up to hydraulic disc brakes, which brake better in rain than the mechanical discs on lower Quick models. Both share the aluminum frame and upright fit.

On flat city routes, yes. The gaps between gears are wide, so steep climbs and fast descents are where you will notice the limit.

Can I ride it on gravel?

Only light, packed surfaces. The 1.38-inch tires and rigid frame are built for pavement, and there is limited room for wider tires.

What size frame should I get?

Cannondale sizes the Quick by rider height, from small to extra large. Check the size chart against your height and inseam, and test ride if you can.

When is the Quick 4 cheapest?

Prices usually drop when a new model year arrives and at end-of-season sales. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is low.

Our take on the Cannondale Quick 4

The Cannondale Quick 4 is a flat-bar fitness and commuter bike built on a lightweight aluminum frame. It pairs a 7-speed drivetrain with hydraulic disc brakes and narrow 1.38-inch tires, so it rolls fast on pavement and stops reliably in wet weather. The 7-speed range is short for hilly routes but simple to maintain. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison before buying.
