Is the Sandee recliner power or manual?

It is manual. You push back on the backrest to recline, so it needs no motor or outlet.

How much space does it need behind it?

It is 34.6 in deep, and a push-back recliner needs clearance behind the back to recline fully. Leave several inches between the chair and the wall.

Does it rock or swivel?

No. It only reclines; there is no rocking, gliding or swivel.

Is $254.99 a good price?

Only one store lists it new at $254.99 as of November 6, 2026, so there is little price history to judge against. For a solid wood recliner rated to 300 lb, that is a low price.

What is the seat width?

The chair is 29.5 in wide overall. The seat itself is narrower, so measure your space before ordering.
