Is the Carl Martin Quattro worth it?

If you want four classic analog effects in one pedalboard-friendly unit with an onboard power supply, the Quattro is a solid choice. It costs more than buying separate budget pedals, but the build and sound quality are high.

How does the Quattro compare to the Carl Martin Quattro MkII?

The MkII adds a tap tempo for the echo and a more flexible routing option. The original Quattro remains a simpler, slightly cheaper alternative if you don't need tap tempo.

Can I power the Quattro with a standard 9V adapter?

No. The Quattro has an onboard regulated ±12V power supply and requires its own mains cable. It does not run on 9V pedalboard power.

Does the Quattro have stereo outputs?

Yes. It has stereo and mono outputs, and an effects loop for inserting other pedals.

What effects are included in the Quattro?

It includes a compressor, overdrive, chorus and echo. Each effect has its own controls and can be used independently.
