No. The box ships without a lid; the matching lid is Carlisle part 10617 and must be bought separately.

Can it go in the microwave?

No. It is freezer and dishwasher safe but not microwave safe, so reheat food in another container.

How much does it hold?

2 gallons, or 1,088 oz. That is roughly 8 quarts, enough for a large batch of stock, a bulk bag of flour or several heads of produce.

Will it fit my shelf?

It is 26 in wide, 12 in deep and about 3.5 in tall, sized for full-size sheet-pan racks. Measure your shelf depth before buying.

Is $22.70 a good price?

It is the lowest of the five new listings as of November 4, 2026, so it is a fair buy. Check whether the seller includes the lid, since that changes the real cost.

Our take on the Carlisle StorPlus Food Storage Box

The Carlisle StorPlus is a clear commercial-grade plastic food storage box, the kind used in restaurant kitchens and now common in home pantries. This size holds 2 gallons (1,088 oz) and measures 26 in wide by 12 in deep, so it fits a full sheet-pan shelf and holds bulk dry goods, produce or marinated items. It is dishwasher and freezer safe but not microwave safe, and it needs the separate 10617 lid. At $22.70 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of the five new listings.
