Questions and answers

Is the CB2 Jackson bed a good price at $1,499?

It is the only new price listed, $1,499 at CB2 as of November 6, 2026. With no competing listings, there is no recent low to beat, so judge it against other velvet king beds you like.

Does the Jackson bed need a box spring?

No. It ships with slats, so a mattress can sit directly on the frame. A box spring would only add height.

What is the frame made of?

The frame is engineered wood, not solid wood. That keeps the cost and weight down, but it is less durable than a solid hardwood frame.

How do I clean the velvet?

Vacuum it gently with a soft brush attachment and blot spills right away. Avoid soaking the fabric, and check a hidden spot before using any cleaner.

Will a king mattress fit?

Yes. It is a standard king bed, so any king-size mattress fits. Measure your room and doorways first, since a king frame is wide.

When is it cheapest?

CB2 runs seasonal sales, and upholstered beds often get marked down then. Watch the price history and buy during a promotion rather than at full price.

Where is the CB2 Jackson Sage Green Velvet Upholstered King Bed cheapest?

At CB2, for $1,499.00, as of our latest check.
