Is the Chic House 126-inch sofa worth it?

At $1,199 at Wayfair as of November 3, it is 51% off the regular price, which is low for a sectional this size with a solid wood frame. The value holds if you have the floor space and a second person to move the 219 lb of pieces.

How does it compare with a standard three-seater?

It is 126 inches wide with 42-inch seats, so it seats four where a typical three-seater seats three. The trade-off is a 219 lb weight and a footprint that needs a large room.

Does it fit through a standard door?

It ships as four separate pieces, so each box is narrower than the assembled 126-inch sofa and should pass a standard doorway. Check the box dimensions before ordering for a tight hallway or stairwell.

What is the seat height and depth?

The seat is 19 inches high and 28.5 inches deep, with a 19-inch back height. The deep seat is comfortable for lounging but less supportive for upright sitting.

What is included in the box?

You get four pieces: the seating modules, the 42-by-42-inch ottoman and the connectors. Assembly is tool-free, and the pieces lock together with the connection system.

When is the price lowest?

The current $1,199 at Wayfair as of November 3 is already 51% below the regular price, which is deeper than typical holiday discounts. Watch for further markdowns around Black Friday and end-of-season clearance.
