Our take on the chillscreamni Handcrafted Solid Mango Wood Round Coffee Table with Rattan Panels

This is a 31.5-inch round coffee table in solid mango wood with woven rattan side panels, handcrafted by chillscreamni. At 14.2 inches tall and about 40 lbs, it sits low and wide, so it suits a living room seating arrangement rather than a tight hallway. The mix of warm solid wood and rattan gives it a boho or coastal look that stands out from plain MDF tables. No current price or price history is available for this listing, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Pros
  • Solid mango wood top and frame, not veneer over MDF
  • Rattan panels add texture and let the table feel lighter
  • Round 31.5-inch top works for sofas and sectionals
  • Low 14.2-inch height suits standard seat heights
  • Handcrafted construction with visible wood grain
Cons
  • No listed price or price history, so value is hard to judge
  • About 40 lbs and 31.5 inches wide: awkward to move alone
  • Solid wood can expand, contract and show dents
  • Rattan panels are harder to wipe clean than solid surfaces
  • No storage or shelf space under the top

Questions and answers

Is solid mango wood good for a coffee table?
Yes. Mango is a dense hardwood, harder than pine and most rubberwood, so it resists everyday dings better. It does move slightly with humidity, so keep it out of direct sun and away from radiators.
How big is it next to a sofa?
The top is 31.5 inches across and 14.2 inches high, which sits just below most sofa seat cushions. Leave about 14 to 18 inches between the table edge and the sofa so people can get in and out.
Does it need assembly?
The listing gives assembled dimensions only, so it is not clear whether legs attach on delivery. Expect at least some bolting of legs, and check the box contents before you recycle the packaging.
How do I clean the rattan panels?
Dust with a dry brush or vacuum on low suction. Wipe spills on the wood with a barely damp cloth and dry it right away; keep rattan away from standing water.
Will it scratch a wood floor?
At about 40 lbs on four legs, it can mark soft floors. Felt pads under the feet are cheap insurance, especially if you slide the table to vacuum.
When is the best time to buy?
No price history is available for this table, so there is no known seasonal low. Compare it against other solid mango and rattan tables before buying.
