Is this ashtray good for travel?

It is small and made of aluminum, so it packs easily. But it has no lid, so ash and smell are not sealed in. It suits a bag or car more than a pocket.

What size cigar does it hold?

It holds one cigar up to a 60 ring gauge. Larger cigars will not rest properly in the bowl.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?

Yes, the listing says it is dishwasher safe. Hand washing still keeps the black finish looking new longer.

At $15.99 at Amazon as of November 7, 2026, it is a cheap, sturdy travel ashtray. If you need a lid or a multi-cigar holder, spend more on a case instead.

Does it come with a lid or case?

No. It is an open ashtray with no lid. Ash can blow out in wind, and the bowl stays exposed in a bag.
