Our take on the Clek Liing Infant Car Seat

The Clek Liing is a premium rear-facing infant car seat for babies from 4 to 30 lbs and up to 32 inches tall. It stands out with a rigid-LATCH base that has an energy-absorbing load leg, a bubble level indicator, side impact protection, and a machine-washable cover. The carrier weighs 9 lbs and the base 17 lbs, so it is heavier than many budget seats. At $249.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, well below its typical selling price.

Questions and answers

Is the Clek Liing worth it over cheaper infant seats?
If you want a load leg, rigid-LATCH install, and a 9-year lifespan, the Liing justifies its price. Budget seats skip the load leg and often have shorter expiration dates.
How does the Liing compare with the Clek Liing?
The Liing is Clek's infant seat; its larger convertible sibling is the Foonf or Fllo. The Liing fits newborns to 30 lbs, while convertibles last through the toddler years.
Can I install the Liing without the base?
Yes. It uses a European belt path for baseless installs, which is handy for travel and taxis. The carrier is also FAA approved for airplane use.
What are the weight and height limits?
The Liing fits babies from 4 to 30 lbs and up to 32 inches tall. Most babies outgrow it by height before weight.
When is the Liing cheapest?
The best new price was $249.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026. Infant seats often drop during registry events and holiday sales, so watch for those windows.
What's in the box?
The box includes the carrier, the rigid-LATCH base, and a newborn body support insert. Check the listing for any additional inserts or accessories.
Where is the Clek Liing Infant Car Seat cheapest?
At Amazon, for $649.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Clek Liing Infant Car Seat?
2 stores we checked sell it, including Amazon, eBay.
