Is Clipper 7X butane good for refillable lighters?

Yes. The 7X refinement is filtered to reduce impurities that clog jets and wicks, which is what most refillable lighters need. It also suits cigar torches and small butane tools.

How much butane is in the pack?

Twelve cans of 300ml each, about 3.6 liters of fuel in total. That is enough for many refills, depending on the size of your lighter's tank.

Is $36.99 a good price for this 12-pack?

It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it with. Check the per-can cost against single cans before deciding.

Does Clipper 7X butane work in torch lighters?

It is refined butane, which is the standard fuel for most torch lighters. Very high-output torches may still prefer a dedicated premium fuel.

How should I store the cans?

Keep them upright, below about 120°F, and away from heat, flames and direct sun. Do not puncture or refill the cans.
